It's okay to have sex on the first date if you're not expecting the relationship to proceed to a deeper level and both parties are honestly okay with that. Be up front with each other about this. However, if you like the guy (even a little bit) and see any type of potential with him, then sex on the first date is never a good idea (even in this day and age).
